Sensoria
hits the road to celebrate their 7th Birthday
Yes, I know we said we wouldn't do it again but we
have caved into pressure. So many of you have written
,emailed, phoned to ask us to put Sensoria on one
more time so we have decided to stage a gig on our
7th Birthday. John Walton at The Venue in Long Eaton
kindly offered the use of his fantastically gorgeous
club to Sensoria for the entire evening. For those
of you who haven't been before, you are in for a treat.
The Venue is a private club for discerning clubbers
covering 2 floors, fab dance floors, beautiful bars
reasonably priced with a fantastic light and sound
system, not to mention a whacking great laser. All
we have to do is fill it with lovely Sensoria people
and we have a party to remember. Yes, it might be
easier to have it in Milton Keynes but as you are
aware there are no decent venues at the moment in
MK so a Sensoria outing seemed like the best idea
as we always had so much fun on our outings in the
past.
The night will run from 10pm - 4pm.We have booked
a coach for the evening to leave The Point at around
8.30 returning about 5.15am. The cost of the coach
we estimate to be about £10 per head return,
more than our earlier estimation as it has gone up
a lot since we last booked one. First come first served
on the coach so PLEASE LET US KNOW ASAP IF YOU REQUIRE
A PLACE ON THE BUS. Everyone on the bus will get into
the club at the members price of £6.
Our birthday would not be the
same without our Sensora resident Dj's. Unfortunately
Andy can't do the night as he is on tour with Passion
that night so Jackie B has kindly agreed to step in
and try to fill his shoes. The tried and tested skills
of Mr. Pete Brown and The Daddy of Sensoria Mr.Keith
Hurley will be blasting out all those tunes you remember
and love Sensoira for. Pete will also be playing in
the funky room downstairs which will be hosted by
Milton Keynes based crew MEW'ZIK alongside Mart D'
Funk, Horris James and Finger Jockey. A clean sweep
of MK DJ's in both rooms, all we need now is to fill
the dance floor and show them how much we appreciate
their skills.
A sensoria night would not be
complete without some live percussion from The Techno
Pharaoh who has agreed to don the gear once more and
beat out his earthy rhythms. Atlanta Entertainments
are providing the multi talented dancers so prepare
for a visual treat of stilt walking, fire eating,
grinding and of course some pole dancing and by the
way they look fab too.
On a final note, we have missed
seeing everyone and it would be really great to have
you all together once more on the dance floor. You
know who you are, do try and come and together we
will have one great party.
Much Love and Best Wishes,
Trish & Jim xxxx
